galleryGOMEZ, in partnership with the Hope Street Margolis Family Center, offers Creative Workshops for kids.
galleryGOMEZ creates art programs for adults and the public.
The goal is to enrich the lives of kids and to motivate them to participate by showcasing what they have learned in an end-of-session Art Show for parents and for the community.
Donations toward Summer Programs 2017 are welcomed. Students will perform with instruments that they have created in our Found Sound Course and they will also stage a short play that they have rehearsed and created in their Theatre Arts Workshop. Concurrently, students’ photography and silkscreen projects will be showcased at galleryGOMEZ as a way to celebrate their work.
galleryGOMEZ founder, Michelle Carmen Gomez, has worked with children for many years, both in the LAUSD and privately, as a tutor. Her degree is in Journalism and she has worked professionally as an artist for over 15 years.
